The developers for this project, which is a 248-room combo hotel having the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands, appointed us as the CM when the project was going through the permitting process. The building was initially designed as a CFS, Steel structure building which was later changed to a total precast structure. This created it’s own challenges in design coordination. Track One along with the architects and the precast provider worked through the design details and successfully mitigated potential disruptions during construction. The structure is 8-storeyed, 175,000 sft with a 7,000 sft basement that contains Back-of-House functions. The hotel also has around 3,500sft of meeting space.
